MimiNazu is centered about the gravitational pull towards one another. They have been attending the same university, stealing glances when the other wasn’t looking. But it took a long time for them to properly interact, and there was an undeniable pull. Mimi had been supporting Nazuna since way back then but had no plans of being close with him; Nazuna heard of her former stage name when she was an underground idol—but that was all they were. Coexisting.

Mimi is a former idol, now an independent singer-songwriter and producer. She is currently focusing on university but is consistently putting out tracks while taking on producer works from time to time. She tends to be obsessive but has mellowed out through the years. She loves to put up a façade.

He's cheerful and caring, but when combined with his worrywart tendencies, it means Nazuna often takes on too much. He's doing his best and balancing both his studies at university and his idol activities. His singing voice is a little husky, and despite his small stature, his performances are full of power.

The First Meeting

Mimi was watching over Nazuna from his Valkyrie days to the current Ra*bits. She knew what went down on a surface level as she was but an outsider. She adored his voice then, even as his voice changed, she was still captivated, perhaps even more enamored. Nazuna knew Nyanmimmy, but Mimi at the time was quick to move around. She never stayed in one place, being difficult to get ahold of. He tried to follow her career, but one may call her Shakespeare for being such an enigma.
The first time Nazuna saw Mimi in college was during the university-wide student orientation; he recognized her as Mimi Dot, only later on to realize that she was also Nyanmimmy. Meanwhile, Mimi saw him during the entrance exam. It took Mimi sometime to spot him as a student in the university. From then on, they would steal glances from one another. Nazuna felt assured for having another idol be on the same path as him; Mimi felt both comfort and dread. Dread because she felt as if there would be more to their connection. And gut feelings always made her feel sick to her stomach, but this time, the feeling of comfort prevailed. Thus, she allowed herself of admiring him from afar.
Their first proper conversation was when Mimi scouted ES to gather idols for a shuffle project. She was content with the distance she had with him; why would he want to get close with her? Nazuna simply had the feeling of want, just the same as she did. Except he didn’t rationalize it far longer than she tried to. The attraction was there beyond reasons.
The Relationship Development

She was hard to read however, but it added to his wanting. Her enigma further reeled him in. Maybe he could open her up. Perhaps he didn’t need to.
Mimi wanted to be understood as she couldn’t perfectly understand herself, yet she didn’t want to be known. Thus, she kept Nazuna at a distance for the most part of being acquainted with him. She found that it was a futile attempt; he wasn’t going anywhere anytime soon. He even went as far as getting mopey (would it be proper to say he was jealous?) that Mimi seemed friendly with another idol, but she wouldn’t allow herself to be friendly with him. Well, was it mere friendship that Nazuna wanted with her? It didn’t matter, he yearned to be close with her.
Mimi adored him, she really did, very deeply. But she didn’t want any scandal to rise, for both their sakes, more so his. She claimed she would protect him, but what good was protecting him if she couldn’t be with him? She needed to find the confidence in herself that she could protect him even if they were to be together. She had to trust on his ability to protect himself too, better yet, they could protect each other.
Call it a leap of faith.
Their Current Relationship

Later on, she realizes that they are mutually pining. She isn’t the oblivious kind, and so, she asks him—and confesses to him herself. Get rejected once and for all if I thought wrong, she tells herself.
There isn’t much of a friendship phase, but as they get into relationship, it is as if they are friends as well. They can confide with one another as if they have known each other their whole life. But of course, there is a lot to still know. Just like any other relationship, it isn’t all smooth sailing, but Mimi is confident that it is the most comforting one she had been in.
Despite Nazuna finding it hard to get a read on Mimi, their communication styles are in sync. It eventually becomes second nature to Nazuna to understand her. They’re easy to miss each other, especially Nazuna. They always spend time in Mimi’s apartment. And while it took time for Mimi to get physically clingy, the first time she did, Nazuna was caught off guard that he became a blushing mess.
Their relationship is still kept as a secret, but a few aren’t oblivious to it. Namely, Nazuna’s unit mates. Some fans also speculated due to their closeness (whether behind the scenes or onscreen), but others argued it is simply the nature of their work. Because Mimi is Nazuna’s producer, and they sometimes do collaborations as music artists. Moreover, they do modeling gigs together at times.
Their love can only be currently conveyed through the language of music and subtle gestures. The world already knows but have yet to realize.
